I found this in a school parking lot just laying on top of the gravel?
Odd place for it laying aroung , I hought.

Yep, Monty is right on. The 32 would indicate a 32nd degree Mason, which is as high as they go. An eBay search could tell you the value. Nice find! -Ben
Ray, I don't think offhand that it's actually gold, most of the items will be marked as such-either 10k or 14k or a combination of the aforementioned along with sterling. They do make some items that are gold such as a Masonic ring and also the ladies auxilary which is I believe known as the "Eastern Star." I think the marks on the reverse on the bottom are just a manfacturer's mark.
I think that's probably brass and the Masons now have a 33rd degree. You earn it by going into one of the special branches of masonry such as the Shrine, Scotish Rite, etc. Monty
