I found this piece in a field along the scioto river. I dont know what it is I thought maybe a tooth or fossil, it kind of looks like a cone but as you can see in the pictures it is really small. any help would be appreciated.

I dont know how it could be a crocs tooth, it was found in ohio. thirty7 I dont believe its hematite its not heavy enough.

Is it perfectly conical? Solid or hollow? Do you think it's a rock or could it be bone or maybe a spur from a bird?

Archer the piece is solid thats what makes me think that it is not bone or a spur, it is conical but it is only 3/4 of an inch long.

Need better pics of the flat end-I don't think a spur would survive all these years because they are made of collagen and would decay like claws and nails
