I am just a beginner so I don't know what most of the things I find are. At first when I pulled it out I thought it was and overalls button but then when I cleaned it up I notice it wasn't a button and I noticed it is pretty heavy for its size.

I would say it's a fired modern bullet. Probably 30 cal., that hit something solid and mushroomed. You can also see the impressions from the barrels lands and groves.
