I got out for about 30 Minutes today
and did a little searchng along a RailRoad.

The Ground was still Frozen solid,
but I did manage this at 10 inches
before being Worn out.

It appears to be Copper, & the Signal
would say that too.

It Appears more Decorative then Usefull.

Too delicate for a buckle. Looks like something may have attached at the two small holes on the back. I'm leaning towards an ornamental overcoat button that may have had ribbon, silk or satin attached behind the copper "grill".

Looks liike some gold gilt still on it. Probably some type of belt or dress clip. 1920's.

With the small holes in the back cross bar, I think it may have been attached to something else. Heat flange for a lantern knob?
