Of course, but with 6 screws it would be quite sturdy. We have 2 similar ones on our garage with 4 screws each, and we hang pretty hefty hanging flower baskets on them
What does it swivel for? Is the plant supposed to be extended outward or always up against the wall.......figure if it swiveled it would spend most of the time up against the wall......
Never mind I seen others online that swivel but in my opinion the would be pretty annoying especially outside in a storm but I'm not a plant guy so I don't know
Early years they used this to hang kerosene lanterns off the wall. The length of hanger was designed to keep the lantern heat away from the wall. My childhood home had many of these.
