What should it be? It's a crucifix pendant, badly bent with the lower sphere missing if there was one. Unique style tho. I'd call it a good find.
Don't ask about the age. Could be old. For that better pics are necessary.

WoW .. You have good eyes! I have a hard time seeing any detail at all except for the spheres!

Check this out maybe it will help. Relic Quest by Stephen L. Moore. Under European Artifacts pg.175, 2nd edition. That is really cool if it is a match, yours looks a little twisted.
