looks like the same one that's on my 1956 Fordson Major tractor Simms fuel lift pump and yes the FORDSON IS AN ENGLISH BUILT TRACTOR

junk and water would be at the bottom.... they were on cars thru the 40's, also..........anything with diesel also has a trap for water, but not glass anymore

VAUXHALL 14 25 hp Velox LIP T80 BEDFORD K M O Victor Firenza all cross to a Type U AC pump 14 to 25 HP leads me to believe that this is for a small farm engine.
