Nevermind. I read a few posts, found a few links, BLAM-O...Found out it is Knights of the Golden Circle. Very interesting!

Ahh thats what it means. ???

Hey Boattow,

Have you seen National Treasure II yet?
It's kind of funny...there is a guy in the movie that is wearing a lapel pin that says "KGC". What a hoot! :D

TW

:D It was a good movie in the beginning... the REST... HA! KGC on "pin" PROBABLY meant KRAZY GARAGE BAND... wasn't that in the "bar scene"? ;D :D SERIOUSLY, if ya wanna know what the emblem is, look at SHADOW OF THE SENTINEL; it is on the apron (UNDER THE SADDLE) on the REB'S horse "pic" (# 9); a WAXING CRESENT MOON, WITH A BLAZING STAR IN THE MIDDLE. A "BLAZING STAR" is a symbol in FreeMasonry. PROBABLY wasn't ANYONE wearing "pins" back in the "old days"; NOT even sure it woulda been on a horse's apron. :D ;)

Yo Rebel,

You must be talking about this symbol ;D

NAW...

Yo! ;D NAW; it is at Gen. John Anthony Quitman's left knee, below his sword... it stated he was Scottish Rite FreeMason. You cut it off too soon.... ALSO... read the "caption" to the "pic". :D ;)

Yo! ;D That was BETTER... "caption" to "pic": "General John Anthony Quitman, a pro-slavery ideologue with high status in Scottish Rite Masonic circles. His pre-civil War KGC affiliation is SUGGESTED by the STAR AND CRESENT SYMBOLS on the horse's riding apron". "Pic" # 9 - SHADOW OF THE SENTINEL - Warren Getler & Bob Brewer (aka HillBilly Bob... Blind Bowman...). THANKS! HILLBILLY!!! ;D ;)

Rebel,

Is that better? ;)

TW

Yo! ;D Yes! TW, that is BETTER... since pp can see the "caption", too. You had it correct the FIRST time; it was I that erred... it was on "Wide-screen" & I thought it was "cut off"... LOL... STUPID ME... new-fangled contraption!! Gotta pay MORE attention to "bottom" of screen to see if it needs to be "enlarged". ANYWAY, if pp want a "close-up", the focus can be on the BLAZING STAR/CRESENT MOON symbol... MAYBE, Blind Bowman will come on board here, and tell us MORE... ;)

and yes the KGC did indeed exist, just one of many names for the FAMily, Im not gonna get in a spitting match over this fact, but indeed the family had many names, one thing they all have in common is initiation, if you find a group that has this such as rose croix ,masons, templars , kgc ect.. they all are initiates, the names really dont matter as they are all the same, and it reached into every culture and place on the planet, back to bc times, as you study sites and masonry you can see commonalities, they become real apparent, the things i see and know are definatly from an elite group of gentleman, who were masters of knowledge and religeous culture and art, an amazing group for sure, probably the main question Ive always had is WHY?, a mystery in its self, any way good luck guys Tammahawk

You think the picture and other KGC items had anything to do with Bob Brewer working with the folks in Orlando for the last 18 months on this movie?

The old wolf turned 51 today....I'm guessing it is only gonna get worse ;) :D :(

TW

What ?!?!!

51 ? HA! yer just a young 'un... will be 57 :o on the 27th; 33, what p. 46? HillBilly's book? MOSTLY about Scottish Rite 1801-1860... & War of 1812... ??? I am NOT having a "PMS MOMENT"!!!

Kiddrock33, I think the movie referenced a page in the secret presidents book. Maybe that was page 46 but i don't recall. When Gage arrived at the hiding place of the secret book his partners wanted to look at stuff like Area 51 and other topics but the cops were alerted by the president and moving in. By looking at the page number that the president told him he found the clue to the treasure. Some folks haven't seen the movie yet and I don't want to ruin it for them. siegfried schlagrule
