Tried searching the board for dowsing skeptics, you might be surprised how many threads there are just devoted to helping them to understand with tons of answers.

Most information on dowsing has been posted. There are several knowledgeable dowsers on this site. There are also several map dowsers here. I have tried, as well as many of you, to help those wanting or needing help. There are always those who will only come here to harass those who dowse or to make some snide remaks about how dowsing is not scientific or been proven. There are many things in our world that scientists have no clue of how they work, only theories. Many of these mysteries wil never be solved, especially now that we are getting farther away from nature itself. But we can never remove ourselves from nature, as we are a part of nature and its lifecycle. Some day we may be able to solve the mystery of dowsing through our studies of ELF frequencies, but until that day just enjoy the fact that we have the ability to do it whether we undestand it or not. Dowsing kind of reminds me of waterskiing. Some people can do it, some people can't. Some of those people that cannot do it will strive and work until they can do it. While there will be those that say its impossible and cannot figure out how they can ski, cause I tried it and never could. Same with dowsing, some are just natural at doing it, while others will have to work and they will eventually be able to dowse. Then there are those that try once and say it BS... If its something that is hard to do, no matter what, someone is going to complain and say its not possible.. 99 percent of these know it works, but just want to argue about something for the sake of arguing. Kinda like a lot of women I know.... nag, nag, nag, nag.....

This board provides me reassurance that I am not alone, there are others out there pretty much just as crazy as I am with an interest in dowsing. Feeling like you're alone is a nasty situation. Thanks, guys.

Some things are really common. The response from a first timer seems to be, "what the hell is going on?" How many times have we heard that? At that point their little house of non believer cards hits the ground, never to be picked up again. I love the smell of dowsing in the morning, and remember ,, Charlie don't dowse.
