What is the best type of sand scoop for beach detecting?

I have been looking for sand scoops online today for beach detecting. The beach sands here are very salty but pretty soft when dry.

I guess, like everyone else, the less bending over the better. What are some of the strongest, easiest to use, and best quality scoops to buy?

i've only ever made mine , it's just a hand scoop made from a 4 ltr heavy duty plastic water container , with bottom cut out and 10mm holes drilled in it to let the sand out.
it suits my needs , and only cost me $4.

For wet sand or in the water, fresh or salt, Nothing beats a Sunspot. Some of the Beach Brutes are good also.

Dry sand searching is better done with a screened sifter like the RGT scoops at http://www.rtgstore.com/rtgscoops.html

If your going to do it all, your going to need both types.
