Yup

ברוך השם המפואר של מי הממלכה היא לנצח נצחים

christ mass = christmas

it a celebration of the birth of the savior * - oddly its held dec 25th and a evergreen (pine) tree is used as a symbol of "never dead" life forever -- this was done long ago by the catholic church to help covert druids (english) to the catholic faith by using - times of year ( lunar - fall ) and symbols (trees) they already "understood" thru their druidic religious beliefs

Actually goes back to ancient city of Babylon . . . near the time of the tower of Babel. Began with worship of Nimrod, who married his own mother :o . Was claimed that the tree sprouted up ovenight at his grave . . . Dr. Alexander Hislop's book is fascinating history.

i have always found it odd the time of year dec 25 for christ mass (birth of christ) since the bible says that the shepherds were in the feild * -- the shepards in the feild was done during the warmer spring and summer months when the sheep were taken to pasture in the hills * during the colder fall / winter months the sheep were kept closer to home . so if the sheperds were "in the feilds" that would make one think christ was most likelyborn in the warmer months (spring / summer --rather than the cold fall / winter time)
