What is this??? a cannon ball ???

I found these 2 things
The small one I believe is a musket ball ..It's about 1/2 inch in diameter with a seam and a small flat top.
Is it a musket ball

The Large ball is pitted steel..It weighs 9.4 oz and is approx. 1 5/8 " in diameter...

Is this what they call a 1 pounder

The white one is a musket ball. The steel one is most likely a grape shot.
See the post in "What is it?" for some more clarification.

It wouldn't be a one pounder unless it weighed one pound. LOL

that is a NICE looking grape shot! All the ones I found in germany so far was kind of chewed up looking, but the battle was in 1793, so I can't complain too much.
