I'm going to take a-shot-in the-dark; vanzutphen or (Van Zutphen) is a sir-name (family name).

Typically, the Van prefix indicates Dutch origin whereas Von is German. As a prefix to a family name it denotes nobility.

I think Sutphin is actually [von] zutphen....very clever.
