Hello 420,

Welcome to TNet & thanks for showing us your bottle. Please include a photo of the base.

It looks like an ink, but is a mucilage bottle. It appears to be from the last 2 decades of the 19th Century.

Do you think there's a purpose for those two rings on the neck? And that glass looks extra thick. Mucilage soothes the intestines, but you have to get it there somehow.

Hello batcap,

I believe it was designed to give one the ability to "tune" the amount of mucilage on one's brush or spreader.
