Found this red dog letter holder. It fits in my hand and I can't find anything similar online. Any search suggestions or keywords? Anyone know how old it is or how much its worth? Thank you for your time!

Are there no words that identify it's maker or country of origin?
Does the mouth open?

No words that I saw, and the head clamps up and down as if to hold a letter or something similar. The two screw holes on the top and bottom makes me think it is supposed to be vertical.
