hunting in the desert takes a little thought....look for a high, flat spot in the side of a hill overlooking a wide valley, with some sort of water source, (steam, even just seasonal) nearby. This is a camping spot where folk could safely sit, make stuff, eat, sleep and watch for game or intruders below.
