What Kennedys to keep?

Check the 82. There are some out there with no "FG" (designers initials) on reverse. Can be $10-$20 from what I have seen on eBay.

I believe there is a 74 double die but not positive if that is correct year. I'm sure others can chime in and verify that.

Best to you

Thank you! That is exactly the kind of information I was looking for :D

1971-D DDO
1972 DDO
1972-D DDO
1972-D (NO FG)
1973-D DDO
1974-D DDO
1977-D DDO
1982 (NO FG)
1987 P,D
S-PROOF CLADS

And some save NIFC 2002-to present, (Not Issued For Circulation). These coins and the above may or may not carry a premium.

I think I've seen somewhere that there is a 77 No FG. Not sure if it was a D or not.

I'm going to have to check that out. No "FG"'s are one of the few things I find with any regularity; I've got about 20 of them.

I found 2 1977 no FG in the last 2 weeks they were both D mintmarks, but a lot of the 1977s I see are fairly weak on the FGs also

Thanks for the replies! Y'all are being very helpful =)

You need to have a loupe to check the no FG. I have looked at plenty that look as if it is missing but under a 16x loupe, I can see it. I only have 1 that shows no sign under the magnification.

This is correct. I believe a lot of the ones found by posters on here aren't true no FG. Wayyyy too many being found. There has to be no sign of the initials.

Agreed. I check for them all, and others have claimed finding multiples of some dates. Any trace of the FG doesn't count. The '82 no FG is one of the more common "No FG" varieties. '77 and '78 are the rarest.
