When i was around 10 i remember i kinda stole a bunch of these from a neighbors front yard and broke them open with a large monkey hammer and left them in my alley. So happened he shared the same alley and he went to my mom and i got in some deep doo doo. I remember he said the were worth $ and he and a group went to some state to collect them. Well the other day i came home to my apt complex and found this guy laying in the gravel. Same exact kind as we smashed up when we we kids. I wont ever forget the tan color with orange brown rust stains. Its nice size and feels pretty solid. Im not gonna break this one, by buddy has a lapidary saw. Can anyone give me some info on this rock?
