What kind of hammer is this

Never seen a hammer like this before, can someone help me out, me and my boys found it hunting today, looks extremely ancient, I did clean it up a little to make it more recognizable to someone of an expert.Thanks You.

I found something very similar a month or two ago.

Looks like part of an old adjustable wrench.
I think Erving is correct, looks like maybe part of an adjustable Monkey Wrench

Could also be an anvil pin.

I believe Erving is right, I see it now, with the wrench in texasvarmit it really is very easy to see

Thank You everyone for your help, I appreciate it, I might use it as a tack hammer now that I know its not valuble old hammer but a missing part off a adjustable wrench. Funny,Funny

Here is a pic of what I was talking about (bottom right of pic). They were used to clamp things you were hammering. They slide into what is called the Hardie Hole of the anvil.

could be a farriers hammer--used for horseshoeing --find lots of horseshoe type nails nearby?
