What kind of metal detector should I buy???

I am looking to get started with metal detecting and I don't know what detector much less the company to buy. I am looking for one in $150-200 range. Help!

For $160 you can buy a Tesoro Compadre that will find lots of stuff, is easy to use and has a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Can't be beat for a starter detector and the only company with lifetime warranty.
