Looks to me to be some type of sandstone mixture, I have one similar but with calcite running through it. Thats my guess on it.

It is hard for me to see, I think there is yellow sulfur in there. Which means it could be from lode zone. Have Old Bakergeol look at it he is a geologists

You need to whack it in half with a hammer and show a better? photo of an unweathered surface. Photo is fuzzy but I see some rounded, individual grains of quartz which at this time suggests? a sandstone or a conglomerate.
