Hi There,
Relatives were renovating an old homestead and found these items under the steps of the old home (which date backs to the mid-1800's, possibly early 1800's) leading to an upper bedroom. I've seen old photos of a brickyard from the 1800's that was across the street. This is from a small, rural mid-western town of about 2000 people today.

Do they look familiar to anyone? (The quarter is for size reference)

The one with the star in the center looks like the type that were commonly made at the fair and may still be. You could have your name or any other thing placed on it. I have one that has my name and the fire department that I worked at the time engraved on it and had it on my key ring. The other tokens appear to be common type.

The "badge" item is actually a good luck token that people could make in a machine.....usually one at an amusement park or similar spot. The machine allowed you to stamp any combination of letters and number in it. The item with the 5 digit number stamped into it and with the hole in the middle is a gaming token.

The Good For In Trade tokens look similar to ones I find in Pa, 1890-1920s. The aluminum star item usually are 1940s - 1950s. Nice finds

I thought it says TOMAS CARLISLE LEBANON PA. Looked on FamilySearch for "Tomas Carlisle" and found nothing. Since these tokens are fairly modern, that is probably why.

Of course The Period between TOMAS & CARLISLE Helps separate them :(

Thanks so much for all the great information! Very interesting!!! Do you think the badge was possibly originally from a fair near Lebanon, PA and was lost in Northwest IL?

I found my star good luck token like yours in Fredericksburg Va in the 1980s. I suspect from a Traveling Carnival midway

it is possible. fair , or bus station

May have also been Printed in Illinois since if Tomas was from Lebanon, No matter where he printed it,
He would have added Lebanon, PA
