what kind of tooth? Cow?

It looks like a cow tooth to me but I'm having second thoughts based on the age of things found associated with it.
Were there cows in Florida in the 1700's?
"Cracker cattle?"

I see why you are saying cow. The two are very similar. Can anyone give us an explanation on the differences between the two? I love learning!
 
I am leaning much more towards cow than bison. I studied a lot of mammal teeth in college and this took me back. Unfortunately your sample is a little too similar and yet dissimilar to both cows and bison.
 
That's pretty much where I ended up.

If I could describe the context you would see why I thought more about it.
Things get mixed..it happens.
 
Could be a horse also, they look a lot like that.
 
I used to find those when i was a kid. my neighbor said they were cows. another neighbor said pigs.
