It MIGHT be a D over D error, but in that case I would give you $5.00 for it.

I’d be the same way. The condition of the coin is horrendous. To a collector, and also as a buyer you have to be wanting a coin in amazing condition if it’s an error, but in the case of key dates it’s a little different. Case in point a 1916D Mercury dime can be ugly as snot and still bring big bucks

PMD, nothing more as I see it.
Don.....

Nailed it right on the head[emoji23] which looks like someone’s done with this poor wheat cent. I’ve dug cleaner ones that were older than that one, especially less damaged around the rim.

That is only the sellers asking price, correct?

Pint***st is another site with stupid listings by greedy sellers.
(or they just put this stuff up to keep their site active. Maybe it's monkey see monkey do, when they see other listings with exorbitant prices?)

Yeah I’d have sent him back, looks just like every other Lincoln head I’ve seen on other wheat cents to modern cents.

I'd let him know that yours is for sale to him for half that price but, he must act quickly to this limited one-time offer. :laughing7:

Absolutely nothing. Unless of course someone with more money than brains actually ponies up for it. All kinds of dumb out there.

he or She must have watched allot of the Shopping Channel.
I Don't know if it still Exists, But back around 2000 They were selling Toasted Morgans.
& The so Called Expert, had the Audacity to say, The reason they were Asking 2 or 3 Times Melt
Was because by looking at them You could see They passed Through Many Hands,
Making them Especially Important :BangHead: & If their Online Counters of Sales were Accurate, They were Falling for it.
I believe they were all 1900 Morgans being sold as "100 Years Old !!!!!!!!"
For around $100.00 each. Was a Long time ago So my Pricing may not be accurate.

anyway, I Can almost guarantee the Honest Grading services would send that back in a Body Bag due to Damage
