✅ SOLVED What might have this key been used for?

I found this large key in a small C.S. camp some years back.It looks to me like it might have been a jailers key ,but I don't know?Maybe for a large trunk??

i think it was from a chastity belt my x-wife use to have. she was large and had a bunch of junk in her trunk..so that explains why it is so large.
so i am going, with a key for a large trunk...hehe.
anyway that is unusually large for a key..good find...i did find one similar to it, but dummy me. i can't find the ding dang thing...

It's for a lock on a treasure chest of Confederate gold. Don't ask me how I know.

it is a simple design and easily remade if it needed be.Obviously for a larger lock and also iron.The other large lock sets I have seen would be a bit more dificult to pick.
My best guess...iron gate lock key..like this one..
