What might I expect?

I am not much of a half hunter...buying $100 here, $200 there, maybe less. I have had decent luck with them, too. My bankroll is too small, unfortunately, to go at halves like many here.

Income tax season is upon us, and since I have a really good relationship with my bank, I ordered eight boxes of halves. I realize it's totally luck of the draw, and I might get totally skunked, but based on the experience of everyone here, what do you think could be a realistic haul from $4,000 in halves?

I hope it's way better than average, but average for me is about one a box.... So I'll say 7 40% and a couple 64 kens.

I believe you can expect the excitement of the hunt, the thrill of victory, and or the agony of defeat. OK...a bit dramatic, but I do really expect you'll have fun searching.

Good Luck Amigo ! I have always done way better with Customer Wrapped Rolls . If you get a few 90's and 8 or 10 40's ,that would be pretty good.

Well, I had my last last 20 boxes for the week last week turn out to be skunks......first 17 of this week the same, 1 box last night gave up 8 40's and 1 90.....keep your expectation low and enjoy the thrill of the hunt. it's not like what you see on you tube..... Best of luck!! HH, Maverick.

I would expect to be skunked, then if you find even one silver you are happy!
CRH is like playing the lottery or scratch off tickets. You usually win just enough to keep you coming back, but rarely do you ever hit a jackpot.

In my area, I would expect 4 40% halves from 8 boxes. I occasionally did better, and I often did worse, but that is what experience told me to "expect."

8 boxes is too small of a sample size to really "expect" anything. Your odds of finding some Ag are definitely better than they would be with only 1 or 2 boxes. I hope you get something good!

Every box I search I think before I open it that this one is a dream box. Then I open it and immediately see it is not a dream box. Now I want to see a few enders and hope the box will give up 20 or 30 silver. No enders.
Now I'm hoping to find maybe 10 silver.
As I start opening the rolls. Roll after roll all clad.
Half way through I'm thinking maybe a few 40's and 1 90.
A few more rolls and I hoping to find 1 90.
Last roll please have a 40 in it.
Well, maybe the next box will be a dream box.

My last 8 boxes over the past two weeks had one box with 3-40% and 1-90% with 7 skunks. Good luck.
