Bart, I did a search for "vintage baitcasting reels." My results provided me a link to ebay where there are tons and tons of them for sale. You may able to scroll through there and match it: https://www.ebay.com/b/Vintage-Casting-Fishing-Reels/36176/bn_1969555

In general, eBay's been helpful to me in identifying old things, especially if you have a broad idea of what it is.

If you can make out the patent number that’s a great clue. I’ve got several old Shakespeare bait casters and it’s a close fit. Late 40’s to late 50’s had the Bakelite rings around the housing.

It could be a Penn baitcaster you will have to look until you find a match.

Considering the nylon gear, I'd put it in the early 60's.
