What The Flip is This Object

Another gold camp find. Heavy iron object. Bowl shape to it with etching all over the exterior. Nut and bolt on the outside piece. Small cone shape from the inside metal. It is a heavy iron. I am clueless after pounding Google trying to figure this one out. Found similar objects nearby in broken pieces. Thanks for the help.

I am going to agree with mamabear .. a grinder .. specifically, a coffee grinder similar to this one:

All the small hand grinders of the time (coffee/corn) were called burr mills. This is one of a set of burrs. Tony
