Thanks Tic!! I started to look through some images, seeing some close matches. Now, I’d just love to know what the heck it was doing in that old lot in which In which I dug it lol!! Guess that’s part of the mystery. Thanks for taking time out for me.

Looks to me like a tool used for modeling clay as used by sculptors. I grew up around a couple sculptors, they has similar if not identical items for carving clay.

I think you are close. It looks like an old opium scraper for cleaning the bowl..

Here's a fancy one.

Of course most opium addicts couldn't afford a silver scraper, the one you show is much more common.
