Gypsy got me digging for my keys. Here's some. I know there are more around here, but........where?
Keep meaning to make something out of them, or display them somehow...

The only ones found while metal detecting are the 9 by the butterfinger.

I'm open to any ideas...:)

ebayed a couple folding skeleton keys for several bucks each...always see them listed...but, you can send them to me if they are in your way and you don't want to bother selling.....display sounds great.......gldhntr

Holy crap...what a nice bunch of skeleton keys!! Definitely like the idea of a shadow box. Or a picture frame without the glass in it. Or glued onto the outside of a metal box, making it your very own special treasure box.

Ashleen those are great....I am trying to get as many as possible and then I am going to glue them all over one of my doors....They are so fun to collect.....I put a bowl of them in the middle of the table and people like looking at them when they visit...They would look really nice in a display case or a glass top coffee table.....

Ash,

idea ::) :P

buy yourself some brass wire. Make a
tree out of it. Roots to act as a stand,
trunk goes up, branches come out.

Hang the keys on the tree, sort of like a
christmas tree but a regular tree.

As you get more keys, just add more branches;
another row of wire, from root up the tree and
out as branches.

Excellent Idea, if I must say so myself ;D ;)

have a good un............

They used to be my bathroom curtain! lol I just tied them to ribbons of graduating lengths and hung them from the curtain rod like a swag. I LOVED it, but the old man thought it was 'goofy'. And the cat was always at 'em!
Gypsy, I have a bowl of rocks on my table! lol semi-precious and 'prescious only to me'.
Maybe I'll try everyone's ideas, and see which comes out best :)
Sherm...I have plenty of brass, copper and silver wire...hmm...
