I would like to have some more ideas on what I should be looking for in coin roll hunting. I search mainly nickels and pennys and occasionly halves since i'm only 15.

When I do pennys, I look for high grade coins, wheats, foreign, dimes, ect. I don't keep the pre 1981 copper. What are a list of varieties and errors in pennys?

When I do nickels I look for war nickels, pre 1960, high grade, foreign, buffalos, ect, but what should I all be looking for? Thanks

read the newcomer guide. you are on your way to a great start at 15.

I was told to buy the cherry pickers guide. I figure if I'm really doing this for fun, not for money, it should be a pleasant read. If I were doing it for the money too, it should be a good investment. I don't think many people make money doing this. At least not more than if they just got a job. REgardless fo your motivations, it seems investing in a good book would be well worth the money.
