Posting for someone that is interested in selling these, a little help in knowing what they are. And what would be a good price for me to pay for them?

This one would be called?

I would stay far away from this piece for sure.

Hey Badadze :thumbsup:That effigy piece is not real. The others could be though. Tell him if he wants to try to sell them he needs to get that thunderbird out of there cause it will kill everything else. They are a fantasy item. I am guessing he just sent you the one set of pictures? With out provenance his best chance is e-bay. The first may be an adze not sure if the one is a discoidal. Lets see what everyone else says

We need some better pictures of item #1 and item #4. The first one may a Metate but it hard to say with just that one picture and #4 may be a Discoidal but we need a side view to see thickness and if the sides are flattened.

The Thunderbird is fake.

The Point looks to be a Dovetail.

If I were to buy an artifact, the thunderbird would be what I bought. I'd love to hold one study it and figure out why all artifact collectors say they are fake. Odds are, it's a fake, because I've read every credible person in the archeology and collectors field call these fake. I still would like to hold one and decide on my own. If we all know they are fake, why do so many still knapp these? Also, where did the thunderbird come from, what is it's origin? They are really odd.

I was thinking Matate as well, ill see if he can get more photos.

here, lets see what they tell us.

I'd say the first piece is a Mano and a very nice one. The second is natural and of course the Axe is just awesome.

Thanks Grim!! I had a feeling the round one was natural when u said u wanted to see if the edges were flat. Well my friend was a little upset that the effigy was a reproduction, he said this stuff literally sat on a shelf at his Granddad's and he had some great memories that flashed images of them. He will be glad to know about the Mano, and yes i agree, the axe is BadAdze!!!!
