I find these from time to time. They are obviously worked and usually have a triangular prism cross section. They fit nicely into your fingertips with a little blade edge pointing down and your index finger positioned above the cutting edge as a pressure point. I figure they are simple one off cutting tools, made quick for a specific purpose and tossed aside done. They don't appear to be broke. I apologize for the poor pictures but can't get such a small thing into good micro focus.

That is some real nice stone and they more than likely were a one time use tool, unless a lot of them were mounted into a club or something.:thumbsup:Nice find.

thanks...it is more of that carnelian agate that we find out here, it is nice stuff.
 

I would just call it a utilized flake, or blade-et, and a nice one!
