Found this next to the old B&B from the 1800's I;ve been hunting, the lot next door had an old church located there..found this down about 6 inches, doesn't appear to be silver but I am not sure....any ideas?

Ahhhh...let me venture a wild guess. A horse bridal rosette! The leather strap would go through the bracket on the back.
