Dug this early last week in a field. The house site is early - mid 1800's. This maybe c.1900? But don't know what it is or used for.

Thanks for looking and for any help!

My first thought was a TOC overall button snap but the possibility exists that it could be the West Shore Railroad in NY. http://web.me.com/gino.dicarlo/ginospage/westshore/index.html

I also found a West Shore RR button but its not a match but yours may be an earlier or later version. :dontknow: Maybe someone will follow up my lead to see if it goes anywhere.
