What's a good camera for close up shots?
Another incomplete old thread where a new thread just plain doesn't make sense...

For things like bugs and flowers, yes, you need a good camera with close-up capacity.
For things like coins, which seems to be common on a treasure forum, a cheap HP scanner will do better than you need. Those doing serious old photo work should already have one.
Of course, I say HP only because that is what I have always used.
