Crimson red, about 3 carats. Not quartz, single stone.



By the way, never try and take pictures of rocks at 6:00 am on no coffee!

Hmmm, that's a deep red! Any idea how hard it is? -Luke

Hi Luke. It scratches glass very deeply, but doesn't scratch porcelain.

Looks like it has some translucence might be a good candidate for a cabochon. Nice color
