What's the deal with these pennies?

So I bought an old cast iron mechanical William Tell bank at a local auction and it happened to be full of change as you can see. The lower pile of coins are all wheat pennies. And the pile on the left is the interesting one. the coins are primarily from 1963-1964 Denver Mint and they all are super shiny still showing very little tarnish and oxidation and the copper color isn't quite the same. Can anyone tell me why? I'm mystified.

They were inside the bank since they were new so they didn't get much handling therefore oxidation is almost nonexistent.

Forget the coins, nice bank! How much?

Great Bank and Stash!
Old mechanical banks are getting hard to come by

I paid 50 bucks for it though it is a repro as it turns out. But it's a really old one. Copyright dates are late 1800s
