Jeff,

any idea what it was for?

If I had to guess I would say some type "magic new life pills" which were big in late 1800's early 1900"s. So many different feel good pills were sold, a cure for everything.

have a good un.............

You beat us Jeff :D Those are the smallest bottles i have ever seen. They could be from free samples or pills, any idea how old they are?

The top one has Threads & a 19 on the Bottom
the Bottom one has a top that would have took a Cork (Stopper) & has a 4 on the Bottom.

? My Guess these are Dates, & would make sense.

Holes are So Tiny on top, IF pills they would have to be Smaller then NITRO Pills,

TOP one 3/16"? Bottom one 1/4 "

That's why I think Perfume.

Yours May be an Old ALKA-SELZER Bottle ?

Great looking bottles, all...
I have yet to find anything smaller than a pint...
Good luck & happy hunting~

Jake:Your bottle with the tin top looks like this first pic. Second pic a little bigger and newer.

Here is the pics.

It does look old...I have seen this shape but cannot remember...hand blown, cork top...before 1900....maybe an opium bottle...nice find.

My bottle is very similar to Jake's. Bottle is 2 3/4 inches tall and a 1/2 inch in diameter. It still has a clear fluid in it. I haven't been able to unscrew the cap. I'm not quite sure if I want to. I found it at a boarded up funeral home built in 1914. I found it buried with it with a few other bottles from the 1800's.

I had to post these.? Do these qualify?
