Wheat penny

Went to a garage sale today, asked for old coins or silver but she didnt have any. As i was looking around i spotted a wheat penny on the ground, picked it up, it was a 1953 D. Was leaving when i dropped it and it rolled behind a pile of junk. Searched for a while but couldnt find it. I feel like an idiot. At least i got to have it for a couple minutes...

LOL, that's too funny CC! Sorry you couldn't find it again. About a month ago I was at a garage sale and I looked down at the ground and spotted a wheatie smiling at me. I swooped down on that thing like an eagle and clutched it tight. LOL No one was in the garage but me,but for some reason I thought you'll never get it away from me. I can't remember what year it was.

If you had looked on the other side of the 53-D you would have seen it was stamped "Detector Coin Only".
