This battle was not as exciting as the last one. With only common wheats found. We both searched customer wrapped rolls bought $5 or $10 at a time. Dad came out ahead with 7 common wheats (oldest 1941). Tanner finished with just 6 common wheats (oldest 1952) and one dime. Tanner is now on a 2 dime in a row streak. Dad scored a unique prize an aluminum coin tray:hello2:. I have joked with tellers before saying that they can give me the coin tray as well, while asking for cents. This teller in Caro, MI said they had tons of them and gave me one. The rolls in the tray are mine, I added them to the photo to give perspective.

Keep on Searching

Dad and Tanner

PS GO TIGERS!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing another great Wheat War.

Out of curiosity,
Have you all put together a book of Canadian Cents yet?

I'd love to know how that collection looks.

Thanks again.

Always enjoy your posts. Tanner must be getting older! Glad he loves spending quality time with Dad--and such a great hobby to boot!
