Lot of rain yesterday so decided to re-check the driveway. Bingo, second hit was a 1923 Wheatie at 3" for breakfast. Rechecked hole and kept getting hits, dug further down, further up and deeper. As you can see I kept hitting stuff. At about 11" I thought I saw a dog collar tag...picked it up to see the dog's name and lo and behold it is a trade token, after cleaning with baking soda I can now see it was for J.T.A.(must reseach). More hits, more digging, about a foot away and 12" down...the Indian Head, thought it was another wheatie until Peroxide bath revealed the shield, still can't make out the Indian or date but still bathing it, each time gets a little better. Thanks for looking.
