I live in Rhode Island, about 30 minutes from the ocean. Earl is going by now and is picking things up a bit.
Im wondering, if I get the chance to go down to the beaches early in the morning does it matter about the storm? Does low or high tide matter? Is there a right way to detect a beach after a big storm like Earl? Will it make a difference with what I might find?
How does the weather affect your detecting- do you go out right after or during a rain storm, etc?
What are your thoughts?
