When my brotherinlaw's last grandson started walking
on his own it was time to put him to the 'TEST' to see what he would become in life .
A bible , a silver dollar , and a double shot of 'shine were placed on a lamp table at the end of the long family room . Family members lined both walls and waited with bated breath as the child was led into the room to make his walk of destiny .
Choosing the bible would predict a Christian life and possibly the ministry .
Choosing the dollar would indicate a propensity for financial gain .
The choice of whiskey would give the presumption that he would become a nerdowell drunk .
The child was led through the door , whence he strode across the room to the table . Stuck the bible under his arm , put the dollar in his pocket , and downed the whiskey .
Whereupon his Grandpa sunk to his knees , face in hands , crying ,
"OH,LORD!" We have brought forth another politician !"
