the tough get going - to a different pick-up bank.

The Brinks boxes are occasionally producing for me (4 Walkers in a box on 6-12 and another box 7-24 with a 1952 Carver/Washington commem plus 10 silver), but the skunk boxes are approaching 90%, so I found a bank that uses Loomis. Picked up 3 boxes. Every box had at least one ender. Here is the first box:

The 3 boxes all produced silver - 30 in box 1, 26 in box 2, and 10 in box 3.

Walkers - 5
Franklins - 7
1964 - 12
1965 - 3
1966 - 5
1967 - 18
1968 - 15
1969 - 1

Total: 24 x 90%
42 x 40%

I'd say these boxes justified your change in strategy!

Meg,
That's a good haul for sure. Been a while since we've seen anything like that.

Sweet cull of silver.

I'm the exact opposite. Loomis is trash on the First Coast. They service all the banks in the area. Brinks was the silver mine for me. I'm hoping the corporate contract comes due and they switch back.

All I get are loomis boxes and they are usually pretty bad but once in a while they are loaded. I got a box with 192 silvers in it from them after repeatedly getting skunked. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1565569776.802074.webp

Brinks has all the banks in this area - this year, starting in January. Last year, we got Garda boxes and they were pretty good with few total skunks. Brinks occasionally delivers Dunbar rolls in square boxes and they are the worst. I've found a single 40% half in over 30 Dunbar boxes. I had to drive further to get Loomis boxes. I'm thinking the variation we see among coin handlers might be due to different sorting centers.

Yep. I'm going to ask the head teller to continue to order me 3 boxes with her usual coin orders. I'm thinking about reducing my more local Brinks boxes from 3 to 1 weekly. A pity the Brinks are so skunky here because that bank is convenient.

Glad you’re mining silver Meg! Send some luck this way, things are dry dry dry!

Wow great work! I have yet to see a loomis box produce but who knows?

Unbelievable. Very nice mega!

Thanks. Yes, after the disappointing first 7 months of 2019, I had come to have low expectations. Can't imagine it will last, it never does.

Thanks TxAg, This is such an unpredictable hobby. These 3 boxes may be followed by a year of skunks - who knows?

The only boxes in which I have no faith at all are Dunbars. Everything else carries at least a possibility, although the Brinks skunk streaks this year have been epic. If we had not lost Garda in January, I would probably not be out looking for Loomis.

Those are the same boxes I get, and I stopped ordering them, had a 10 box skunk streak and just had enough. I’ll probably start back up this fall. You are right though, the hot streaks never last. Congrats again on the very nice
Finds!

Dang thats a great score
