So, I went back to that box of stuff I mentioned before. (Where I found the old bank?)
Unfortunately, there just wasn't much left in the box to go through and what was there just wasn't very interesting.
Except, these few things:
First, an old toy truck.

Too bad it wasn't as old as the rest of the stuff in the box.

This is a strange, solidly made, ring. No clue.
The best for last, still not worth much anything intrinsically. Yet, somehow, I am very pleased.
For you see, this almost got tossed. I was moving the old, empty cardboard box to the recycle pile when I heard something rattle. Being a bit experienced at checking cardboard boxes, I took another look at the bottom flaps. Sure enough, there, sliding back and forth from one flap to another, was this V Nickel.
Maybe the bank did have some money after all.

Sure don't come outta the ground like that, now do they.
It's also a key year. The first and the variation without the words five cents on it. (Which, if I read right, is the lesser of the two.
)
But, ask me if I care. LOL
HH! (when the ground thaws!
