Got home a little early today. The weather was close to miserable, but I really wanted to get in the water for a bit. Hit a local beach only to find a lot of craters in the lake bottom and not a recent drop to be found. Plan"B"....head down to the "old' swim area, where the bottom is mucky and the weeds grab at your coil. Here, I spent three hours....digging any whisper of a signal, and it payed off nicely. Found some nice oldies and man was this stuff deep.

Pulled two gold bands out of that muck...one 10k...one 14k. Also an old sterling ring as well as a copper beauty. Note the brown glob to the rear...there is a ring in there...cleaned it up for the next pic....could be silver.
To the front....a suspicious piece of flint.

Heres the silver, copper, and ?? ring cleaned up.

Had a great time....made some good finds...thats what its all about.
