You do know that all of these videos are staged using 'actors' (I use that term loosely)?

There are dozens of them circulating on social media, and they all originate from the TikToker and Instagrammer known as 'RTC' (@red_topcounter) taking his moniker from the red shop countertop that features in all of his videos. He just produces this stuff to get reputation clicks.

A hunch that some are staged? Did you look at his TikTok page I linked. There are dozens of staged videos from the same shop with that scratched red counter, some using the same 'actors' as customers in different scenarios. In addition to the fixed CCTV camera, there's sometimes another camera tracking the shopkeeper's actions behind the main camera to maximise the drama.

The only thing that's real is the shop. The location is not known for sure, but some of his 'fans' have identified it a family-run convenience store in Cleveland, Ohio that originally belonged to RTC's father.

If the videos aren't staged then either the store is astonishingly unlucky to have such a weirdo customer base, or there's too much lead in the drinking water in Cleveland.

Except that the TikTok account holder known as RTC is an adult male shopkeeper who makes staged videos for entertainment and reputation clicks, who also shares them himself as YouTube 'Shorts' and encourages others to share them too.

The majority of TikTok users are over-18s, with the 25-34 age group having the largest presence at about one-third of the total.
