I recently found out via NETR Online • Historic Aerials that the location of the house I grew up in used to be farmland. The park at the end of my street used to have a farmhouse where the large grassy area is now. The city had dug a hole about 3 feet down and across to apparently replace a broken pvc pipe right in the area where this farmhouse was (I marked it with a red X), so I decided to detect inside that hole! What I found in there was some old rusty nails, and this big, heavy metal piece that looks like...one of the teeth that would be on the back hoe (bucket) of a tractor? Also found a 1973 penny in the pile of dirt off to the side. I still have quite a big area to cover (and hopefully find more relics of this old forgotten farmhouse), but wanted to take advantage of that hole the city had made before they filled it back in.
Here's 2 screenshots of my old neighborhood in exactly the same spot, but different years. 1946 on the left, and how it currently looks on the right.

Here's what I found in the hole
