Just seemed fitting to be walking around an old mansion on the hill on Halloween. So, that's where I went trick or treating today.

Here's the results of my rounds:

That's a pretty solid slug of copper! 26 grams!

Whole wheat toast, sliced. ;)

This was one of the "tricks" on me today. :)

And, the '43 P silver nickle was a treat! LOL

All in all pretty nice day.

Thanks for peeking!

Shoulda been dressed up as Dracula or something haha. A vampire searching for silver. :laughing7:

Those darned play coins can sure get your pulse racing, can't they? Looks like that old mansion is still giving stuff up to you. Thanks for sharing.

Wow a War Nickel, that is very cool! Can't beat that with a wooden stake!

Yeah, this one in particular. It was smaller than most coins and yet had this appearance of silver. Even after cleaned up it looks more like silver than aluminum. I couldn't read it in the field due to clinging mud so I had to wait until I got it home. The whole rest of the day I was wondering what sort of silver coin could be that small? The only one I could think of was a Trime. :) Ah well, got one of those already anyway. ;)

Thanks!
